Pearse Haley is a quantitative research analysis specialist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Community and Economic Development group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and a master’s degree in elementary education from Brown University as well as a master's degree in city and regional planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. At Georgia Tech, he specialized in housing and community development and economic development, with his research focusing on housing mobility and workforce development policy. Prior to entering Georgia Tech, Haley worked as a classroom teacher in public elementary schools in the Atlanta area for four years.
